I listened to your first show and i like it

I love that you guys like the show so much, but unless you’re from Halifax or rural Nova Scotia there is a wealth of references and inside jokes you can’t possibly get, that even other Canadians wouldn’t get. And Raveen is the least of it. I don’t mean to sound clever, I’m just excited at the possibility that some fans out there might actually be interested in decoding these.
It would be fun to write up a little lexicon if i thought you guys would be interested.

things like the TPB’s love of “Big 8 pop” :BIg 8 Beverages ltd. is available exclusively in NS, we grew up on it.
Bubbles steals carts on Sun. b/c NS was the last Canadian province to allow “Sunday shopping”, thus malls were closed on Sundays in NS.
Selling weed in Port Hawkesbury and Yarmouth:these are real rural places in NS where drug use is high, but you can only find weed oil and hash oil, hence Ricky’s plan to hit up these places with good weed.
JL Ilsley is a real high school in Halifax with a rep for being full of hicks (moreso than others). When Clattenburg put a JL Ilsley jacket on Ricky he knew exactly what he was doing. St. Pats wouldn’t have been as funny to us locals.

Anyway, i’m just excited to share, so throw me some questions if you want.

I’ve just finished watching the TV series for the second time and halfway through, I found your podcast. I was terrified that it was some old 2006, half-assed, abandoned podcast, but I was very relieved to see new episodes popping up. Great work. It reminds me of my friends and I talking about Trailer Park Boys, only you guys have your grade 10. We don’t use all those fancy TV show maker words and descriptonizations and shit. Awesome stuff. Can’t wait for more.
